Verde Energy USA is committed to supporting the use of renewable energy sources in each state it services. Thanks to deregulation, not only can smart consumers save money on their electric bills but they may also choose an electric supplier who uses renewable resources.
- Renewable energy is 16% of Verde’s standard offer in Connecticut.
- Renewable energy is 9% of Verde’s standard offer in New Jersey.
- Renewable energy is 10% of Verde’s standard offer in Pennsylvania.
- Renewable energy is 6% of Verde’s standard offer in Illinois.
Verde Energy USA also provides renewable energy in partnership with Community Energy to offer 100% Wind Power offerings in New Jersey’s ACE, JCP+L, and PSE&G territories, Pennsylvania’s PECO territory and Illinois' ComEd territory.
Community Energy sources its wind power entirely from new wind farms within the region that its customers reside. Illinois customers receive 100% IL wind and solar power; Pennsylvania customers receive 100% PA wind power and New Jersey customers receive 50% NJ wind power – from Community Energy’s very own Jersey-Atlantic Wind Farm in Atlantic City, the only wind farm in the state, and 50% from the region.
