Management Profiles
Lance Lundberg, Chairman
Mr. Lundberg was the founder and Chairman of Icon International, a $400 million per year global corporate trading firm engaged in the business of helping corporations restructure sub-par assets. Founded in 1986, Icon became one of the largest and most respected trading firms; twice featured on the Inc Magazine 500 list.
Prior to forming Icon, Mr. Lundberg was a consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, specializing in manufacturing operations.
He was named 1991 Entrepreneur of the Year for the Greater New York Metropolitan area by Ernst & Young, Inc Magazine and Merrill. He currently serves on a number of corporate and philanthropic boards, such as Triad Media Services and JHW Greentree Capital, L.P.
Mr. Lundberg is a summa cum laude graduate of Yale University and received an MBA from Harvard University. He is a member of YPO.
Thomas Fitzgerald, CEO
Mr. FitzGerald brings
over two decades of public and entrepreneurial business and investment banking
experience to Verde Energy USA. Tom is a Managing Director of Goodrich Capital LLC and also
serves as advisor to several Connecticut based companies including TNT Expense
Management and LifeMed Media, Inc. (d/b/a dLife.com). Prior, Tom held CFO and senior finance leadership
positions with several venture backed private companies and global companies
including the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, ACNielsen, R.H. Donnelly, and the
Engelhard Corporation (a BASF company).
Mr. FitzGerald earned a BBA from Loyola University Chicago.
Tony Menchaca, CMO
Mr. Menchaca has spent over two decades at the helm of successful enterprises large and small. As an investor and advisor he has overseen the establishment and growth of multiple start-ups including Media Space Solutions for which he currently serves as Chairman. In addition, he also serves on the board of directors for two Connecticut corporations, TnT Expense Management and Clarus Marketing Group.
Prior to his participation in the growth of these businesses, Mr. Menchaca served as an Executive Vice President for Cendant Corporation where he managed the company’s product, marketing and operations groups. Tony also served as President of several of Cendant’s business units.
Mr. Menchaca received a BS degree from Kettering University and an MBA from Stanford University.
